Requisition ID req34661 Working Title Accounting Manager - Department of Internal Medicine Position Grade 15 Position Summary The Department of Internal Medicine, one of the largest and most fiscally complex departments within the UNM School of Medicine, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations across 14 divisions, 400+ faculty and staff, and an $80M annual budget. This role requires a strategic financial leader who can guide a team of professionals, ensure compliance with university and regulatory standards, and partner with departmental leadership on financial planning and decision-making. Conditions of Employment Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree successful completion of at least 15 credit hours of university-level accounting through intermediate accounting; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications
