The Opportunity:
This position is responsible for maintenance planning using SAP Plant Maintenance module. The job's focus is the creation and updating of the planning, scheduling, and documentation as well as the creation of backlog of corrective Work Orders to maximize generation and availability. This person will serve as primary point of contact for all planning and schedules for assets assigned and will work closely with other departments within the O&M organization.
What You'll Do at Enel North America:
- Work in SAP PM for the creation and modification of Maintenance Plans, Task Lists, Work Schedules, Notifications and Maintenance Orders along with other transactions in support of maintenance and repairs for the plants assigned in the Geo/Solar/BESS O&M group, in accordance with Enel, N.A. Maintenance Processes.
- Be a primary support for the budgeting process, both Capex & Opex, by estimating in SAP and other support programs, through plans built in SAP, which contain all necessary labor, materials, inventory, 3rd party support, and duration estimates.
- Develop purchasing requests associated with budgeted and unbudgeted work.
- Primary Liaison managing the maintenance process and collaborating with Site/Regional Staff, Purchasing, Contract Management, Logistics, and Technical Support in the development and assembly of work plan, scheduling, and necessary documentation for all plans and purchases for maintenance work of assets assigned.
- Assist technical teams on the elaboration of the necessary internal procedures or work instructions.
- Coordination and organization of Job Packages for maintenance activities.
- Responsible to lead the planning for all facilities assigned and is the primary owner of the site/regional planning, including working to develop and maintain detailed maintenance plans and schedules in SAP.
- Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance schedules and resource allocation needs in SAP PM and other scheduling or Project Management software, as required.
- Plan future maintenance work in SAP PM via SAP PM Task Lists and Maintenance Plans.
- Work with Site Manager to ensure plans are updated as needed.
- Interface with Operations Efficiency team for any issue relevant to plant performance analysis, to include the development of any action plans.
- Interface with Control Room Manager on Plant Performance and Maintenance activities, including the Outage Plan and outage reporting.
- Interface with Technical Support to support any procurement actions required to support planning.
- Interface with Regional Staff to promote and facilitate effective use of SAP PM in Enel, N.A. Maintenance Processes.
Who You Are:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and MS Project.
- Experience with SAP PM preferred
- Ability to work as part of a team and involve other in decisions when appropriate, preferred
- Ability to take initiative in problem solving preferred
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Excellent communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills required
- Strong ability in scheduling and planning and the flexibility to maintain such as conditions change preferred
- Ability to work independently
What You've Accomplished:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of related experience with knowledge of site equipment and maintenance activities
