ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES





The Aircraft Records Technician duties shall include but not be limited to the following:





  • Process installation and removal of components for all aircraft
  • Ensure all controlled items are reset and tracked properly in computer system
  • Internal departmental auditing functions
  • Maintenance and distribution of circulations and associated database




QUALIFICATIONS





  • Type minimum 40 wpm
  • Computer proficiency skills (Excel, Word, Windows)
  • Organizational skills
  • Communication skills (oral and written)
  • Attention to detail
  • Data entry
  • Team player
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
  • Must be able to pass a 10-year Background/Criminal check and pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.




EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE





  • High School diploma or GED (required)
  • Previous aerospace and/or aircraft records experience a plus




PHYSICAL ACTIVITY





  • Stand - 5%
  • Walk - 5%
  • Sit - 90%
  • Lift - up to 20 lbs
  • Climbing and filing on ladder




MENTAL CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS





  • Requires ability to handle numerous activities at one time
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information
  • Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on short-term basis (longer than one month)
  • Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, and conduct routine oral communication
  • Ability to compose materials such as detailed reports, work-related manuals, and publications
