2026 Summer News Internship - Video Journalist

What you will do:

• Hands-On Work Experience - Perform real work on deadline as a member of our team and walk away with videos to add to your portfolio.

• Learn to work with the sense of urgency and accuracy needed in a modern newsroom.

You need to have:

• Videos you have shot, written, and produced. Do not submit with your application. We will ask for them during initial screening.

• A drive to produce great audiojournalism.

• Ability topitch, research, and write scripts for podcasts.

• Desire tointerview industry leaders and policymakers.

• Willingness to collaborate with our team of reporters and editors.

• Completed at least three years of an undergraduate program with an audio journalism focus or be enrolled in a graduatejournalismprogram that focuses on audio journalism and production.

• Prior experience in audiojournalism.

• Ability to work within a team under deadline pressure.
