Position Title: Production Machine Operator Wage: $19.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday - Thursday) Step into the heart of innovation as a Production Machine Technician, where you'll take charge of advanced, high-precision equipment that powers modern manufacturing. From operating and fine-tuning specialized machines to performing critical quality checks, you'll be the driving force behind safe, efficient, and flawless production. This role isn't just about keeping things running-it's about solving problems, shaping improvements, and ensuring every product meets the highest standards. 3 to 5 years of experience in machine operation, setup, or maintenance within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with precision tools and equipment. Proven problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and quality. Production Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Operate and set up a wide variety of machine - Coining presses, wire formers, screw machines, stamping presses, heat treatment ovens, electroplating and surface finishing equipment, etc - Maintain tooling using grinders, lathes, and hand tools - Read part prints and interpret specifications - Perform and document quality assurance checks using measuring tools and cameras - Monitor materials and machine performance, reporting issues and offering improvement ideas - Diagnose and resolve equipment or product-related issues - Record production data accurately in system - Perform forklift operations for material handling - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace Requirements For Production Machine Operator: - Mechanically inclined with hands-on experience (or strong aptitude and willingness to learn) - Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality - Problem-solver who can troubleshoot and offer process improvements - Team player with strong communication skills - Dependable, motivated, professional, and safety-focused QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
