Position Title: Quality Control Inspector Wage: $19.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday - Friday) Reached a dead end at your current job? This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply now! Quality Control Inspector Responsibilities: - Perform routine audits of production processes in all production areas - Identify and quantify critical, major and minor defects - Verify that incoming packaging components meet specification and release them for use in production - Perform incoming raw ingredient sampling - Review work order and production paperwork ensuring that results are within established specification ranges and Good Documentation Practices are followed - Coordinate the control or release of conforming and nonconforming products - Pull samples from manufactured lots and perform confirmatory testing of finished products and WIP using AQL statistical plan - Communicate effectively with various employees, including operators, mechanics, leads, and department management to ensure that quality standards are met - Must be fully trained and competent in all required areas Requirements For Quality Control Inspector: - High School Diploma or equivalent required - Additional QA/Control or Laboratory training a plus - 1-5 years of Quality Control experience, preferred - Experience in OTC, Pharmaceutical, or Food/Beverage industries, preferred - Familiarity with FDA compliance (21 CFR Parts 210 & 211), preferred - Strong attention to detail and ability to document findings - Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) - Good communication and teamwork skills - Lift/move up to 35 lbs - Sit or stand for up to 10 hours - Bend and reach throughout the workday - Specific vision abilities required (close, distance, color, depth, focus) - Ability to work in stressful situations and wear PPE when needed QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
