As a Technical Coordinator, you will ensure optimal production flow and equipment utilization for the Planetary Recovery department. Daily follow up will be necessary to ensure maximum performance, reliability, and consistency for equipment and systems. In collaboration with Process Engineers, you'll develop SOP's for equipment reliability in compliance with safety and environmental rules while minimizing operational and maintenance costs. As needed, you'll perform equipment and operational troubleshooting by participating in root cause analysis activities and interacting with vendors to resolve. You will facilitate and perform tests and trials related to equipment and systems. You will act as a mentor for Operators and provide technical training and certification support related to equipment, operations, and process knowledge. The Technical Coordinator will need to be collaborative working with and supporting a variety of stakeholders such as Process Engineers, Production Coordinators, Maintenance Coordinators, Automation Engineers, Production Operators, Project Execution, and external vendors.

• High school diploma or equivalent with very good math/arithmetic skills

• Strong technical skills and proven excellent troubleshooting skills

• Minimum three years' experience within NZ production or a similar production environment

• Ability to command and operate all plant and process equipment in their department

• Physical ability and visual acuity to move about plant site, lifting required as needed, climbing ladders or entering tanks required

• Demonstrate excellent communication & collaboration skills

• Ability to use computers and company software efficiently

• Demonstrate good planning and organizational skills

• Demonstrate themselves as an example of professional behavior and safety consciousness for the operators and other employees

• Demonstrate a positive team-work attitude and promotes a winner mentality

Expected salary range: $65k to $85k

• 401(k) with up to a 9% company contribution!
