Job Summary Perform complex automatic machine operation functions in multiple work locations to support Health Wright Products (HWP) production goals and quality, cGMP standards. Work closely with supervisors, maintenance, engineering, and production crew to optimize both encapsulation and packaging efficiency, troubleshoot equipment, and facilitate training of new staff. Specific tasks are defined by work instructions for each operation in the job rotation. Management may assign or reassign duties at any time.
SHIFT SWING : Monday - Friday, 2:00PM - 10:30PM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED (required/preferred). 1-3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferred (pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, electronic, chemical, cosmetics, food). Mechanical aptitude; prior packaging experience preferred. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; basic shop math, algebra, and computer skills. Experience with FDA/cGMP compliance preferred. Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to follow policies/procedures and meet schedules independently. Ability and willingness to learn variable processes. Ability to read and interpret safety/environmental policies, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to work under pressure and potentially stressful conditions.

OVERVIEW
- Operate automatic encapsulation and complex packaging machines.
- Set up, changeover, breakdown, and minor adjustments of machines and fixtures (using hand tools).
- Evaluate production output and ensure machines run at optimal levels, producing quality results.
- Troubleshoot problems with production and take corrective action.
- *Assist and support other staff; may perform encapsulation or packaging duties as needed.
- Material handling: move, stack, load buckets, tubs, boxes, and bins of materials/products.
- Inspect capsules and packaged products per inspection guidelines to ensure quality standards.
- Complete documentation accurately and legibly per established guidelines.
- Maintain clean and orderly work area, including cleaning machines and surrounding areas.
- Check and correct any conditions not conducive to a safe, clean workplace; report safety problems immediately.
- Prioritize maintenance requests and help troubleshoot quality issues.
- Train others and participate in task forces to improve company procedures or operations.
- Recognize out-of-control events, discontinue operations, and resume only when issues are remedied.
- Must pass and re-qualify annually for all job-related tests and certifications required for cGMP, quality environment.
- Other duties as assigned, including polishing capsules, hand sorting, and washing parts.
