Extrusion Machine Operator

Staffmark has partnered with a leading manufacturer in Rogers, AR, seeking a reliable Extrusion Machine Operator to join their team. This climate-controlled facility offers a clean, well-organized work environment and is recognized as one of the top employers in the area.

Pay: $18/hr

Schedule: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM | 2-2-3 rotating shift

In this role, you'll operate extrusion equipment, ensure product quality, and help maintain smooth production processes.

Responsibilities:

• Operate extrusion machinery to meet production standards
• Set up machines using proper conditions and parameters
• Use computer systems to monitor and adjust run conditions
• Start up and shut down production lines safely and efficiently
• Perform quality control checks and report issues
• Follow all SOPs and safety procedures
• Accurately complete production and shift documentation
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine issues

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• 1+ year of continuous experience in a manufacturing setting (required)
• 2-3 years of machine operation experience (preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Basic reading, math, and computer skills
• Able to read English and interpret numbers correctly
• Good communication skills (in person and via email)
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
