Senior Animator/Motion Designer This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), on-site contract role located in Cupertino, CA. Summary We are seeking an Animator/Motion Designer to support consumer software application projects for platform services. This role is responsible for bringing design concepts to life through animation, motion design, and 3D work, while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners in engineering, marketing, and QA. Our Ideal Candidate Experience with animation/motion design in the gaming industry is a plus" AND "Experience with character animations is a plus 10+ years of experience in animation, motion graphics, compositing, and 3D Passion for design with a strong foundation in classic animation principles Proficient in After Effects, Nuke, Maya, Cinema 4D, and rendering engines such as Octane, Arnold, and RedShift Skilled in compositing, video grading, and delivering photo-realistic results Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams such as engineers, designers, and marketing partners Able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines Highly adaptable with excellent time management skills Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail Job Description In this role, you will create high-quality animations, motion designs, and 3D visuals to enhance software design. You'll partner with engineering, design, marketing, and QA teams to bring concepts from brainstorming through final implementation. This includes compositing, rendering, and video grading with a focus on photo realism. You will also manage multiple creative projects simultaneously, supporting the team's overall success and delivering on project goals. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Animation, Motion Design, Visual Effects, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Background in design, visual effects, and motion graphics Experience with industry-standard 3D and compositing tools Additional Requirements This opportunity is located in Cupertino, CA and requires on-site work The pay for this W-2 position is $100.74 per hour This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements Mathys+Potestio values applicants of all backgrounds and experiences.
