The Account Manager (AM) drives the Infrastructure inside sales efforts by utilizing various sales strategies to advance the customer lifecycle from prospecting through new customer acquisition, development and ongoing relationship management. Sales activities also include quoting, answering questions, product introduction and providing front line world class personal customer experience. The AM develops business plans and growth strategies within targeted markets and maximizes sales of products and value-add service offerings.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Sales Planning



  • Develop an annual account sales plan in partnership with the Sales Leader, Infrastructure, consistent with the goals and objectives of the Company, to be reviewed and updated quarterly.
  • Develop and implement business plans and sales strategies for targeted accounts to achieve growth goals.
  • Identify the needs of the customers and tailor specific solutions that create value to the customer and profitability to IEWC.



Account Maintenance



  • Develop relationships with key decision makers at the customer utilizing the IEWC inside sales strategy and application of our sales methodology.
  • Communicate new products and IEWC capabilities with special emphasis on quality of service that create value to the customer.
  • Utilize the applicable tools to generate quotes for opportunities and tracks opportunities through the CRM and utilizes these platforms to analyze won/loss metrics.



Sales Growth (Prospecting, Acquisition, Closure, Delivery & Follow-up)




  • Create a robust opportunity pipeline, focus on new target identification and outreach, increasing win rate percentage, maximizing average deal size and increase the velocity within the pipeline (shorten sales cycle).
  • Deliver the IEWC value proposition and align our value wedge to gain a competitive advantage through value differentiation.
  • Utilizes the pricing tool to assist in pricing strategies to optimize profitability.
  • Following the appropriate conferred authority, creates and implements programs, such as rebate, stocking package, that creates growth at the account level.
