As the Shipping Administrator, you will coordinate and be the go-to for truck loading and will facilitate the efficient operation to ensure timely delivery of raw materials for use by production. You will coordinate loading and unloading activities of trucks and materials with team members, shipping companies, drivers, 3rd party carriers, and production. Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the efficient warehousing and shipment for all finished products to improve department efficiency and productivity.

• Troubleshoot bottlenecks with PPG supply chain, and PPG transportation personnel.

• Review shipping documentation for accuracy, create labels and manifests for hazardous cargo, update trucking companies of cargo, and ensure all proper documentation is distributed.

• Sustain sufficient levels of loading, packing, and shipping supplies while coordinating the overall prioritization of all packaging and loading types to meet customer requirements and shipping department goals.

• Ensures efficiency of operating procedures, space utilization, and the maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• 3+ years' experience in Shipping/Receiving/Logistics or general Warehouse.

• Proficiency with computer applications, IT and database skills, including Office programs.

• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems is helpful
