Are you an experienced facilitator, planner, instructor, and/or manager who has a passion for helping others grow their skills and abilities? Your search ends here! We're seeking an AI Training Facilitator/Instructional Tech to serve as a full-time facilitator and instructor with demonstrated expertise in training and facilitation including: presentation, leadership, and critical thinking skills to support a dynamic, experiential training program. This program needs someone capable of supporting a 40-hour week training environment who can consistently support class sessions on Monday through Friday from about 8am until 4:00pm schedule, with set-up starting around 7am for class days. Classes vary in length but occur within this schedule.

As a successful candidate, you will be skilled at applying lesson plans to both formal and informal learning, adapting techniques to meet all student needs, utilizing a range of methods to assess participant learning and training effectiveness, providing positive coaching and feedback to participants, and conducting and facilitating meaningful and engaging activities in classroom and potentially extended reality training. You will need to be able to manage the instructional schedule, visitors and VIPs, coordinate with other team members, and assist with the management and delivery of team projects. You will need to be able to learn and become proficient in virtual, augmented, and extended reality hardware including its operation, safety aspects, and how to facilitate others in the use of the equipment. You will need to learn and become proficient in the associated software packages used in the prior mentioned hardware. The successful candidate will have presence and poise, be comfortable and skilled at creating a welcoming learning environment, be able to provide administrative and safety instruction, and facilitate and assist the learning of participants. Drawing on your facilitation and communication skills, you may be required to demonstrate activities or proper use of equipment. The AI Training Facilitator/Instructional Tech may also lead debriefing sessions with participants after activities. They should be comfortable and capable of getting assistance for any participants who have medical issues when facilitating extended reality training.

You will be part of a larger program and will assist the team with customer communications, team coordination, and help plan and respond to project requirements. You'll work closely with developers, designers, and subject matter experts to create products that not only incorporate sound adult learning principles but also engage learners and are accessible. You may be asked to evaluate and revise learning activities and content based on input and observations, as well as coordinate and report on participant and training progress. You will be expected to work with the designers on the team to adjust, develop, and evolve activities and training.

Your Main Mission:


  • Work as part of a team to deliver creative and engaging training in support of customer mission needs.

  • Provide instruction, individual or with a team, to audiences on specific techniques, skills, methods, and tools via extended reality hardware, with the capability to deliver instruction across multiple modalities (in-person, online, synchronous, or asynchronous).

  • Facilitate engaging exercises, activities, or discussions.

  • Lead the planning, scheduling, and consistent and dependable execution of training sessions.

  • Partner cross-functionally with other team members, such as designers, AV, IT, instructors, subject matter experts, and production teams, to accomplish tasks and complete projects.

  • Coordinate with customer task leads to coordinate resources, prioritize activities, and ensure quality and timely products.

  • Maintain credentials as necessary.

  • Archive final projects per office-designated standards.

  • Adhere to customer security policies and procedures regarding the use of systems, equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.

  • Execute diplomacy working with various levels of team members, managers, and customer to identify requirements and develop action plans.


What Sets You Apart:


  • Possess a current TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

  • Ability to consistently support the customer training schedule (M-F, approximately 7:00a-4:00p).

  • A bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of direct knowledge of and substantial experience with technical and training delivery programs.

  • Strong experience determining, solutioning, and providing proactive and creative solutions to customer requirements.

  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and intergroup communication skills and strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Demonstrated experience using a wide range of technologies and software (including basic desktop publishing tools).

  • Capable of learning content and curriculum, AI concepts, and new training hardware and software delivery systems, and able to assist others in the use of those systems.

  • Experience in teaching, mentoring, planning, instructional design, and/or course facilitation and delivery.

  • Ability to be successful in a fast-paced work environment and adapt to changing requirements and environments.

  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with multimedia designers and technical/instructional developers to produce products that directly support instructional requirements and projects.

  • Familiarity with handling projects with intellectual property and copyright elements and familiarity with ADA Section 508 compliance.


You Might Also Have:


  • Demonstrated knowledge of, and at least three (3) years of, direct substantial experience in delivering and applying custom curriculum, utilizing instructional techniques, and/or utilizing student assessment and course evaluation methods for feedback and improvement.

  • Direct experience with technical customer environments and familiarity with their training needs.

  • Ten (10) or more years of direct knowledge of and substantial experience with on-site customer environment and their training and project support needs.

  • Instructor certification or equivalent (such as CPLP or other certification).
