Freelance Foodie Content Creator

We're looking for a Houston-based social media content creator to join a new campaign highlighting some of the best local restaurants in partnership with a leading Soda brand. You'll ideate, shoot, and edit fun, engaging review-style content for platforms like IG, TikTok, and Meta - bringing Houston's food scene to life. This project will start as a one-month project with the goal to extend for ongoing support in Houston.

What you'll do:

Visit participating local restaurants each week (from a provided list)

Capture and edit 3-4 short-form videos per week (restaurant reviews, food features, lifestyle angles)

Pitch 2-5 content ideas weekly (with revisions as needed)

Deliver authentic, scroll-stopping content that fits the foodie vibes

What we're looking for:

Based in Houston (or nearby and able to travel into the city)

Experience creating engaging, food-focused social content (bonus: review-style)

A foodie mindset - you love trying new spots and sharing them with your audience

Confident shooting/editing your own content for TikTok/IG/Meta

Comfortable managing weekly deliverables and working within brand guidelines

Details:

Paid freelance role, running weekly through campaign duration

Meals covered (guidelines on reimbursement provided)

Expected 3-4 restaurant visits per week

Must be comfortable filming in-restaurant settings (sometimes during busy hours)
