Overview
Salary: $70.20-78 Hourly W2 + benefits
As a key member of the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) team, you will be at the heart of validating critical mobile systems. You'll not only execute rigorous testing but also design and implement robust automation solutions, ensuring comprehensive coverage and a superior user experience. Your work will directly influence the quality and reliability of on-device experiences for a wide range of mobile applications, playing a crucial role in the timely delivery of new features and campaigns. What You'll Do:
- Independently execute and track testing and validation efforts for complex mobile systems.
- Develop comprehensive test strategies, detailed test plans, and precise test cases and scripts to ensure high-level test coverage for existing functionalities and new features.
- Perform thorough testing of on-device experiences across a diverse portfolio of mobile applications.
- Write advanced automated tests for target applications on leading mobile operating system platforms, utilizing Python and Swift.
- Manage multiple initiatives, prioritizing feature and campaign testing, alongside documentation and on-time delivery of end-to-end testing.
- Prepare and present essential documentation, including testing scope overviews, test plans, test results, and associated tickets for resolution and prioritization.
- Ensure timely communication of status and progress through detailed Test Status reports, Test Metrics, Progress Reports, Coverage Reports, Defects Reports, and related documentation.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or User Acceptance Testing, with at least 5 years focused on test automation for end-to-end systems.
- Proven experience in end-to-end testing across multiple applications, with a track record of developing comprehensive validation coverage.
- Experience with validation of native mobile applications or on-device messaging for large-scale marketing initiatives.
- Expertise in Python, specifically for writing sophisticated test automation scripts.
- Expertise in automation for leading mobile operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard automation tools such as Selenium and Appium.
- Experience in the design and creation of test automation frameworks and tools, with a specific focus on End-to-End Test and On-Device mobile testing.
- Experience with testing activities spanning the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept to final delivery.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with development tools like Charles, GIT, and Jenkins.
- Experience with automation of data analytics and data reporting across multiple systems.
- A strong understanding of software build tools and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) integrations.
- Experience leading coordination efforts with multiple engineering and product teams to expedite issue prioritization and resolutions.
- Experience creating comprehensive written test reports, showcasing test progress, status, test plan completion, identified defects, and associated risks.
