Job Overview Join our team in "Doing the Most Good" as a Store Manager. We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead one of our Salvation Army stores. This role is crucial in supporting our mission through efficient store operations, staff management, and community engagement. You'll be responsible for overseeing all store operations, including staff supervision, sales performance, store maintenance, customer service, banking, and record keeping, while ensuring that all functions support our mission of serving those in need in our community. Pay Rate: $20.00 Status: Full Time, 40 Hours per Week Key Responsibilities Leadership & Staff Management 
 
 
 Recruit, train, and supervise store staffManage scheduling and payroll processingImplement company policies and practices in employee relations
 
 Store Operations 
 
 
 Develop and implement strategies to meet production and sales goalsOversee donation processes, product sorting, pricing, and presentationManage store maintenance, safety, and appearanceEnsure compliance with OSHA and Salvation Army safety policies
 
 Customer Experience 
 
 
 Create an enjoyable shopping environmentDevelop customer retention plansSet an example for positive customer interactions
 
 Financial Management 
 
 
 Oversee cash handling procedures and daily depositsWork within budget parametersManage inventory tracking for designated product lines
 
 Communication & Reporting 
 
 
 Maintain open communication with Regional Manager and Department HeadsProvide daily reports on store production and salesAddress customer complaints and provide education about the program
 
 Supervisory Responsibility 
 
 
 In conjunction with the Regional Manager, recruit, interview and recommend for hire Store staffTrain and supervise the store staffIn collaboration with the Regional Manager, provide direct reports with a personnel reviewReview and approve time and attendance for store personnel using the current payroll systemCheck time logs regularly, following all current regulations and trainings

 Qualifications Education & Experience 
 
 
 2 years' experience in staff management and development or combination of education and experienceProven retail management experience
 
 Skills & Abilities 
 
 
 Strong leadership and team-building skillsExcellent customer service orientationProficiency in cash handling and basic financial managementAbility to work a flexible schedule, including early/late shifts, weekends, and holidaysAbility to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with customers, management and coworkersBasic computer skills including but not limited to the use of the Point of Sales System; the payroll program, Microsoft Office Suite and all other programs or systems that are adopted by theGood speaking, hearing and vision ability, and excellent manual dexterity
