Function:

Finance & Accounting Job Summary:The Sr. Financial Systems Analyst at CF Industries will lead and support monthly accounting close processes, operate and maintain financial systems, and drive system upgrades and implementations. This role involves collaborating on cross-functional projects, maintaining master data and data governance, and supporting audits and compliance. Job Description:
  • Lead and support monthly accounting close processes (fixed assets, costing, plant accounting, consolidations) in S/4 HANA, including foreign exchange rates, revaluation, translation, ledger management, internal orders, budgets, accruals, recurring entries, and reporting.
  • Operate and maintain financial systems: S/4 HANA Group Reporting, Trintech Cadency, Workiva, and SharePoint. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for these platforms.
  • Drive system upgrades and implementations ensuring system functionality and compliance including requirements gathering, data validation, user training, and go-live support.
  • Support cross-functional projects participating in data migration and validation, legacy system shutdowns, project testing and go-lives.
  • Maintain master data and data governance: Develop and maintain processes and controls for master data; perform data quality analysis and support data governance initiatives.
  • Collaborate and train: Foster inter-departmental collaboration, cross-train team members, and provide training on new tools and processes (e.g., Cadency, Omnia, Workiva).
  • Support audits and compliance: Partner with Risks and Controls team to enhance SOX/internal controls, document, and review.
  • Perform business-as-usual activities: Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual activities accurately and on time as defined in Cadency Close and service level agreements.
  • Other accounting and IT-related tasks as assigned.
Technical Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Finance (FI/CO) module and S/4 HANA Group Reporting.
  • Experience with Workiva, Trintech Cadency, Coupa, and SharePoint.
  • Strong Excel and data validation skills.
  • Ability to lead system upgrades, testing, and implementations.
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance, and reporting processes
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar.
  • 5+ years of diversified experience with accounting systems, data governance, and internal controls.
  • Experience with S/4 HANA, Workiva, Trintech Cadency, and related systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, training, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Initiative-taking approach to process improvement and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, attention to detail for audit and compliance, and the ability to lead and support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Coordinate complex testing and upgrades and deliver high-quality documentation.
  • Align technical solutions with business processes.
Certifications:
  • Additional certifications in accounting systems, data governance, or internal controls are a plus.

Estimated base pay for the position is typically between: $91,500 - $120,700

The actual base pay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and scope of the role, and could be outside of the posted pay range.
