Educational Recommendations:

Currently a candidate for an MS or PhD in electrical engineering, applied physics, or a related field at an accredited school in the USA.

As part of our team, you will:

  • Work directly with other Nokia Bell Labs researchers and Nokia business units to define novel architectures, perform system analysis, design, simulate, and characterize state-of-the-art RFIC packaging and EM passive components operating in the mm-Wave and near-THz spectrum.
  • Help to provide innovative solutions to emerging applications in the mm-Wave and near-THz spectrum.
  • The candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of RF, micro-, and mm-Wave technologies and have hands-on experience with passive component design and testing.
  • The candidate must be able to contribute effectively and efficiently within a larger team, demonstrating strong communication skills and partnering with other groups in Nokia Bell Labs.
  • Expertise in:
    • Circuit design and simulation software (Keysight ADS, Cadence AWR, or equivalent)
    • 3D EM component design and simulation software (ANSYS HFSS, 3DS CST, or Keysight RFPro)
    • RF test equipment and component characterization
  • Familiarity with:
    • Schematic capture and PCB layout design (Altium, Cadence, or Allegro)
    • SI/PI simulation and analysis
