Global Quality Assurance Engineer

We're looking for a Global Quality Engineer I to support our New Products & Processes team. This is your opportunity to work cross-functionally with global teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure first-time-right performance in materials, manufacturing, and product quality.

As a key member of the Global Quality team, you will:

• Develop and approve technical specifications for materials, intermediates, and finished products.
• Act as the Quality Technical Representative on product development teams.
• Lead and support testing, inspection, and validation of materials and products.
• Conduct statistical analysis and prepare data-driven reports and recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure smooth technology transfer.
• Support risk assessments and mitigation strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement using tools like 5 Whys, 8D, A3, and Fishbone.
• Audit contract labs and support quality systems compliance.
• Serve as a backup during FDA/regulatory inspections (contract group only).

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a quality role in any of the following areas: material science, quality-related continuous improvement, supplier quality, product development, process validation, product design, or quality related to contract manufacturers.
• 2-3 years of experience working in a Drug, Medical Device, or cosmetics environment.
• ASQ CQE certification (or willingness to obtain within the first year).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical software (e.g., Minitab).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is a plus.
