Job Summary This position will be responsible for managing claims in the following preferred jurisdictions: IA, MN, WI Work Location This position offers both remote and hybrid work locations. Candidates who reside within 50 miles of an office location (West Bend, Madison, Appleton) will be offered a hybrid work schedule. Candidates who are fully remote (beyond 50 miles) may occasionally be asked to travel to an office location for in-person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and corporate events. The internal deadline to apply is 10/3/2025. External applications will be accepted on a rolling basis while the position remains open. Responsibilities & Qualifications Handle moderate to complex claims with minimal supervision and guidance from the manager. Utilize current Claims technology. Research and formulate a basis on which coverage decisions will be made, conduct thorough investigations, evaluate damages and liability. Negotiate settlements with insureds, claimants and attorneys. Responsibilities also include active file management, ensuring proper reserving, participation in training activities, presentation of claims to Committee and supervision of litigated files. Serve as a mentor for others in the team or department. Consistently exhibit a high level of customer service and adherence to department audit guidelines.

Salary Statement The salary range for this position is $53,459 - $83,819. Benefits West Bend offers a comprehensive benefit plan including but not limited to:
