Position Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Wage: $25-$35/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm, Friday 6am-2:30pm, Occasional Saturdays as needed

QPS Employment Group is looking for a hands-on, problem-solving Maintenance Technician ready to take on a variety of challenges in a fast-paced industrial environment. If you enjoy troubleshooting equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and keeping operations running smoothly, this is the opportunity to showcase your skills, grow your career, and make an immediate impact on a dynamic team.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Assist with the plant preventative maintenance program, performing routine checks and maintenance to ensure equipment runs efficiently

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical equipment

- Perform welding and fabrication tasks to support maintenance projects

- Replace or repair parts, controls, and other components as needed to minimize downtime

- Maintain and repair plant vehicles, including forklifts, pallet jacks, lifts, and other material-handling equipment

- Conduct interior and exterior building maintenance, including general repairs and upkeep of facilities

- Collaborate with other departments, such as manufacturing engineering, to support process improvements, projects, and equipment upgrades

- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment

- Operate a variety of vehicles safely; a valid driver's license is required

Industrial Maintenance Technician Requirements:

- Prior experience in industrial maintenance or a similar hands-on technical role preferred

- Basic electrical knowledge is required

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work proactively and independently

- Comfortable working in a team environment as well as handling individual responsibilities

- Experience with welding and fabrication a plus

- Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

- Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles
