Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Wage: $27.00 - $36.00/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 2:25pm - 10:45pm

With your deep technical skills in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, you'll ensure every piece of equipment performs at its peak. You'll tackle breakdowns head-on, prevent problems before they start, and be the go-to expert for keeping operations safe, smooth, and efficient. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

- Respond to production requests for immediate attention to production line issues and problems

- Maintain production equipment

- Maintain records of preventative maintenance

- Create requisitions of parts and supplies to maintain equipment

- Maintain electrical/electronic systems and general production line equipment

- Identify problem areas and address with permanent solutions

Requirements for Maintenance Technician:

- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and/or commensurate experience

- At least two years of maintenance experience and/or training

- At least three years of experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred

- Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems / PSM preferred

- SAP experience is a plus

- Advanced understanding of manufacturing processes

- Ability to make decisions based on standard practices

- Broad depth of experience and knowledge of production machinery and equipment

- Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve

- Advanced electrical knowledge/training

- Advanced understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems

- Ability to weld (TIG, MIG and Stick)

- Advanced knowledge of PLCs and ability to troubleshoot these systems

- Ability to read and understand schematics, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic drawings

- Familiarity with OSHA requirements

- Basic computer skills

- Ability to lift up to 50lbs

- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with average temperature of 50-60 degrees
