JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Digital Communications Manager leads the strategic planning and execution of all Cambro internal and external communication. Responsible for developing and managing creative, engaging written, verbal, and visual content for the company's communication channels. The Digital Communications Manager will develop timely, consistent, and impactful digital content for domestic and international audiences through social media, email, and Company websites.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Ideates and manages the company's digital interactions across all social media platforms; represents the "go-to" thought leader and expert in integration of social and brand strategy and engagement planning.

  • Creates and manages content (photo, video, text) that is optimized for social platforms, specifically Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.

  • Supervises Digital Content and Web Content teams.

  • Develops and manages Marketing department intern program,

  • Utilizes strong writing skills to create effective blog posts, social posts, podcasts, and video scripts.

  • Demonstrates ability to communicate an idea with short-form video, long-form video and other social posts.

  • Oversees strategy, design, and content management of Cambro's corporate websites to ensure accurate, timely, and engaging information for domestic and international audiences.

  • Monitors website analytics and performance, leveraging data to recommend enhancements that improve engagement, conversions, and overall digital presence.

  • Ensures consistency in brand messaging, visual identity, and user experience across all Cambro web properties.

  • Thinks creatively and analytically; communicates clearly and effectively in any medium.

  • Analyzes performance of social content and incorporates insights to forecast future content decisions; evaluates new content opportunities to further build internal and external audience engagement.

  • Develops the strategic plan and manages the Cambro Ambassador program.

  • Collaborates across functions and silos to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives, ensuring a consistent tone and message.

  • Fosters relationships and collaborates with external partners to generate impactful social media content, promoting the Cambro brand prominently with industry partners.

  • Manages the company's philanthropic efforts through the Cambro Cares initiative.

  • Creates and executes internal digital communication training for sales reps and Cambro employees.

  • Develops and executes monthly internal communication to North American employees.

  • Creates, writes, and distributes press releases for product launches and company milestones.

  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of social media marketing and communication trends, best practices and processes.

  • Devises and manages editorial calendar and organization work flows.

  • Collaborates with product and marketing managers to create cross-organizational consensus around the strategic and creative vision.

  • Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization.

  • Execute each essential duty satisfactorily in order to perform job successfully.

  • Follows all safety procedures required in work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions.

  • Performs effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treats everyone with respect.

  • Takes ownership of own work and behavior, accepts accountability for own actions, encourages solutions, and communicates status of work/projects.

  • Follow all department quality standards/criteria. Raise concerns and issues to immediate manager.

  • Able to understand and demonstrate Cambro company culture, display company core values (Safety, Quality, Respect, and Service).

  • Understands department's key performance indicators and contributes to achieve these goals both individually and as a team.

  • Other duties as needed or required.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Possess a full understanding of all Cambro products, including proper usage and application.

  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, remain flexible and open to possible schedule changes in order to meet business needs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications

  • 8-10 years of marketing experience

  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

  • Editorial requirements including SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement

  • Development of editorial governance to create content that is consistent with brand voice, style and tone

  • Expertise in social media management, website content management, content creation, and email marketing

  • Demonstrated ability to distill various data points into actionable marketing recommendations

  • Experience with email marketing development and distribution methods

  • Experience with video and photo editing software like Adobe Creative Cloud (PS, Premiere Pro)

  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS

  • Excellent creative, technical, inspiring and engaging writing skills

  • Excellent presentation skills required - must be comfortable speaking in front of various groups and audiences

  • Proficiency in digital tools and platforms (CMS, SEO, analytics)

  • Must have the ability to accept constructive feedback

  • Strong communication and project management skills

  • Ability to develop and execute digital marketing strategies

  • Ability to develop, manage and adhere to budget

COMPENSATION RANGE:

$77,000 - $95,000

Salary may vary based on experience.
