Department Summary The Department of Pharmacotherapy at the UNT System College of Pharmacy advances pharmacy education, practice, and scholarship through innovative teaching, clinical service, and community engagement. The Office of Experiential Education (OEE) is integral to this mission, with faculty and staff collaborating with preceptors, practice sites, and students to deliver high-quality learning opportunities that connect classroom knowledge to patient care. By fostering professional growth, accountability, and resilience, OEE equips student pharmacists with the skills and confidence needed to excel in clinical practice and emerge as future leaders in healthcare. Position Overview The Academic Program Coordinator provides leadership and support for experiential education within the Department of Pharmacotherapy at the UNT System College of Pharmacy. This role supports Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) students throughout their educational journey, including both introductory and advanced pharmacy practice experiences. The coordinator works collaboratively with faculty, staff, administrators, and preceptors to facilitate student activities and engagement in university functions. In addition, the position contributes to the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of experiential and academic components of the PharmD program.
