This individual will: Provide project QA support to BGS clients in the development and development, implementation and execution of a Quality Assurance Program. May serve as a point of contact for QA related questions as it relates to 10 CFR Part 70 Quality Assurance Requirements. Responsible for developing, writing, and maintaining all documentation related to our client's quality assurance framework, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, revise, and edit technical documents, including Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other controlled documentation.
  • Manage document lifestyle including creation, review, approval, and publishing version control and accuracy.
  • Facilitate process improvement by analyzing current procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with established standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and define quality requirements and processes.
  • Support and promote the BGS quality culture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, quality assurance or scientific discipline.
  • 15+ years relevant nuclear industry experience.
  • High level of knowledge of nuclear industry and terminology.
  • Experience with interpreting relevant nuclear information and standards in strict procedural and regulatory compliance.
  • Prior experience creating, editing, and revising nuclear quality assurance program documentation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR Part 21, ASME NQA-1 and pertinent NRC Regulatory Guides and Generic Communications.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Successful drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior quality assurance program management experience in a commercial operating environment.
  • Experience in corrective action program management.
  • Experience specifying or reviewing procurement document technical & quality requirements.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards and nuclear industry guidance.
  • Practical understanding of engineering methods, design control, design related testing, analytical software qualification and acceptance.
  • Causal Analysis experience.

Location/Work Arrangement:

  • Remote.
  • Schedule is Part-time, Monday - Friday work hours based on project.
