Major/Essential Functions


  • Coordinate professional development presentations/topics with TTU HR, the Office of Leader & Culture Development and non-TTU/S entities.
  • Stay up to date on all Human Resources trainings/presentations while scheduling and coordinating trainings for Institutional Advancement employees.
  • Assist other managers throughout TTUS IA with the hiring, onboarding, and annual review processes.
  • Responsible for Xtender processing and filing of all confidential documents. Stay up to date on document retention standards.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to track progress on professional development initiatives, workforce engagement, and retention goals.
  • Assist with paperwork for new positions, reclassifications, labor redistributions, and position descriptions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must have experience with all Microsoft suite applications. Ability to build trust, resolve conflicts, and maintain confidentiality. Comfortable with public speaking and leading meetings. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain high ethical standards. Ability to mediate disputes and foster positive workplace relationships. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to leadership and diverse audiences.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field. Three (3) years related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal seven years.

Preferred Qualifications

SHRM-CP certification, degree or background in Human Resource Management, Talent Management and/or Professional Development.
