This opportunity is in the Claims department.
Our Claims Department oversees both high-exposure workers' compensation and liability claims. As an unbundled carrier, we work actively with third-party administrators (TPAs) and self-administered accounts to assist in guiding claims to a successful resolution. As an excess carrier, the catastrophic claims we handle keep our group challenged, but the uniqueness provides plenty of growth opportunities.

Role Description:

Are you passionate about operational excellence, payment accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration? As a TPA Governance Analyst, you'll play a vital role in supporting Safety National's Claims-TPA Governance team through payment processing, invoice resolution, and continuous process improvement. You'll serve as a crucial liaison between Claims, Finance, and our Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), helping to ensure timely and accurate service fee payments. Your attention to detail and analytical mindset will shine as you help maintain logs, resolve payment discrepancies, support financial reconciliations, and contribute to dashboard reporting. You'll also have the opportunity to recommend and implement enhancements to streamline workflows and support internal audit readiness. Qualifications:

Education:



  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Risk Management, or related field preferred.


Required Qualifications:



  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 3 or more years of experience in claims/insurance operations with a TPA or commercial insurance carrier.
  • Experience with invoice research, reconciliation, or financial data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial tracking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and formulas); familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills with both internal teams and external vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently.

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
