The Propulsion System Chief Engineer leads all technical aspects of Propulsion Systems projects to achieve customer requirements and functional targets. Each System Project is managed through a System Table, and the Project System Chief Engineer is responsible to drive the Program at system level including, but not limited to, the Internal Combustion Engine, Calibration, Controls, Transmissions and/or Gearboxes, Engine Systems, HVAC & Driveline. The Propulsion System Chief Engineer makes the necessary optimization (System Engineering/System Design approach) / trade-off arbitrations for the entire system to achieve QCTP (Quality, Cost, Timing, Performance) targets.
