Job Title: Commercial Electrician - Install & Service (Fiber/Fire Training Provided) Location: Nashville TN & Surrounding Areas Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: General Contractor / Project Manager Union Status: Non-Union Position Overview We're hiring a motivated and dependable Commercial Electrician to join our team for installation and service work across commercial projects. This non-union role involves working directly with general contractors, performing electrical installations, troubleshooting, and light servicing. You'll also receive on-the-job training in fiber optic and fire alarm systems, expanding your skill set and career potential. Key Responsibilities * Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings (retail, office, healthcare, industrial) * Perform rough-in and finish work including conduit bending, panel wiring, lighting, and receptacles * Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and construction documents * Conduct service calls for troubleshooting and repairs on existing systems * Collaborate directly with general contractors and site supervisors to meet project timelines * Travel locally to job sites using company vehicle or reimbursed mileage * Participate in training programs for fiber optic cabling and fire alarm system installations Qualifications * Valid journeyman electrician license (or equivalent experience) * 2+ years of experience in commercial electrical work * Familiarity with NEC and local building codes * Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with site teams * Valid driver's license and clean driving record * Willingness to learn and train in fiber and fire alarm systems Preferred Skills * Experience with service work and client-facing troubleshooting * Basic understanding of low voltage systems (data, security, fire) * OSHA 10 or 30 certification * Ability to mentor apprentices or junior techs * Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $49.67/hr.
