Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Transportation Clerk to support shipping and delivery operations at an Apple Valley Distribution Center. This role involves administrative tasks, coordination with logistics teams, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: * Handle phone calls, filing, and light office work * Support communication with supply chain analysts, drivers, customer service, and brokers * Assist in identifying and securing revenue-generating loads and backhauls * Perform data entry and generate weekly/monthly operational reports * Maintain transportation documentation and confidential records * Coordinate delivery and pick-up of products following safety guidelines * Track and report customer feedback and complaints * Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, FDA, and other regulatory standards * Maintain driver logs and vehicle reports * Participate in training programs related to safety and compliance * Provide backup support for routing functions when needed * Attend meetings and relay key information to drivers and management Qualifications: * High School Diploma required * 1-2 years of relevant experience * Strong organizational and multitasking skills * Excellent verbal and written communication * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Proficiency in PC-based word processing and routing/fleet management software * Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
