Overview

Performs all diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures within assigned areas.
2. Reviews all necessary documentation to perform diagnostic procedures.
3. Performs preventative visual and manual inspections for each radiographic room/equipment assigned ensuring appropriate maintenance and cleanliness.
4. Participates in the training and development,instruction of staff and radiology students.
5. Demonstrates basic leadership skills and professional growth.
6. Accurately enters all applicable information into the computer system and charges for procedures.
7. Plans and/or implements care for assigned patients.
8. Contributes to an effective quality management and quality control program for assigned area that is consistent with overall departmental/hospital quality management plan.

EXPERIENCE * LICENSURE State of CT Licensure. ARRT (R) PHYSICAL DEMAND While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. They may frequently be required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and smell. They may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
