Nature and Scope

The EHS/Training Coordinator will be responsible for ongoing improvements and continued support of EHS and Training department activities with a focus on enhancing efficiencies across manufacturing operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain, update, and coordinate training requirements of personnel, including employee curriculums, course assignments and reconciliation in a timely manner including onboarding of new employees.
  • Support EHS and Operations personnel training initiatives at all ARI sites.
  • Assist in the revision, update and annual review of policies based on changes to regulations and/or process improvements.
  • Coordinate and maintain records of safety meetings, scheduling, meeting minutes, and issuance of mitigating actions.
  • Responsible for maintaining inventories of personal protective equipment (PPE), incident management equipment, safety supplies, etc.
  • Track and assist in the management of ongoing safety walkthroughs, communication of findings to management, and remediation of mitigating actions.
  • Facilitation of EHS and Training Programs throughout the company.
  • Development of on-the-job training initiatives, qualification processes and risk assessments.
  • Partner with Management to develop area specific training content and assignment.
  • Assist in ongoing maintenance of Training Management System for all EHS and training needs including course assignment, employee curricula, course revision, module approvals and Management notifications.
  • Assist in ongoing reporting requirements including corporate initiatives, environmental reporting, etc.
  • Assist with maintaining and overseeing emergency response programs (HazMat, First Aid/CPR/AED Teams), including training/drills, and certification requirements.
  • Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management.

Education Requirements and Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  • 1-3 years' experience in manufacturing, safety, training and/or applicable field preferred.
  • Proven ability to execute effectively against project plans.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills Strong Communication Skills.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

Physical Environment and Requirements

  • Physically able to wear cleanroom/protective gowning and equipment, including but not limited to gowning, goggles, face shields, and protective gloves. PPE is essential for the health and safety of employees.
  • Maintain gowning requirements.
  • While performing duties of the job, incumbents are occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger; handle or feel objects; tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; talk and hear.
  • Maintain qualifications to access controlled areas.

Expected Salary Range:

$22-26/hour

The hourly range, is the minimum and maximum hourly range of compensation for the role that the employer in good faith believes to be accurate at the time of the posting of an advertisement for the role. Actual compensation for the role will be based on a number of different factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, knowledge, skills and experience.
