$81,500-369,000 Application Window Open date: September 29, 2025 Next review date: Tuesday, Oct 28, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Wednesday, Oct 29, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, in conjunction with the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, seek nominations and applications for an investigator with expertise in partnered health services research approaches relevant to improving the quality of care for individuals with psychosis and psychiatric disabilities. This position will be filled at the Instructor/Assistant/Associate rank. The ideal candidate will have completed psychiatric clinical training and pursued post-graduate research training. The candidate will have begun a recognized research program focused on implementation and effectiveness of clinical approaches in psychosis, legal and clinical definitions of grave disability or functional impairments due to psychotic disorders, the intersection of psychosis and homelessness, and/or related areas. The candidate will be interested in building a successful extramurally funded research career in a highly collaborative research environment that is inclusive of partnership with a variety of stakeholders in community contexts and service systems. Time is allocated for didactic teaching, case conferences, and supervision of trainees. The successful candidate also will evaluate and treat their own patients. In addition, they will engage in scholarly or creative activities derived from and in support of their clinical teaching, professional, and service activities. Teaching and supervisory experience of residents, fellows, and medical students is preferred.
