Description Acara Solutions is looking to hire a Boxer/Shipper for our Industry leading, 40 year old Buffalo Area Manufacturing Company in
Clarence, NY. This client sells their products to 70+ countries and has a really welcoming/fun work environment!
Hours: Typical hours
7:30am to start, after 4 weeks of training, move to 5:30am start time. Overtime as directed
Salary/Wage: $18.00
Summary: this position picks, packs and ships arcade game parts to our clients via FedEx and UPS.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Check the order tickets in which to select products that will shipped
- Retrieval of parts from various locations in the buildings
- Weigh and package the parts order with various mailing medium (bubble wrap, foam, etc)
- Utilize the UPS and Fed Ex mailing software to ship the parts orders
- Cooperate and assist teammates with similar duties Job Requirements Required Skills and Abilities:
- Working knowledge and experience operating Windows based software. At least 1 year.
- At least 1-year of recent related work experience
Preferred Educational and Experience:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Must be organized, proactive, have attention to details, and ability to multitask.
- Possess customer service skills.
- Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and ethics when dealing with vendors, co-workers, and customers.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Must have flexibility with ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and working on a computer.
- Working in a manufacturing setting with machinery and equipment.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
