- Strategic Alignment:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between IT and designated division and business unit leadership.
- Understand business strategies, processes, and challenges to identify technology solutions.
- Translate business needs into actionable IT requirements, use cases, and cost analysis to support informed decision-making by leadership.
- Leverages technical and business understanding to define technology initiatives in support of key business strategies.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and IT Organization.
- Facilitate regular communication and feedback loops between IT and business units.
- Advocate for business needs within the IT organization.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate IT service owners to facilitate effective delivery and prioritization for Commercial Aircraft Group.
- Project Oversight & Delivery:
- Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of IT initiatives.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
- Support change management and user adoption efforts.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and digital transformation.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Recommend innovative solutions to enhance business performance.
- Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure IT solutions comply with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in IT governance processes and contribute to strategic planning.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Ensure Strategic Alignment of IT Initiatives - Drive alignment between IT solutions and business strategy by translating business needs into actionable requirements, use cases, and cost models that enable timely and informed decision-making.
- Foster Strong Stakeholder Relationships - Maintain high levels of engagement and satisfaction with business unit leaders through consistent communication, responsiveness, and advocacy for business needs within the IT organization.
- Oversee Successful Delivery of IT Projects - Monitor and support IT project execution to ensure timely delivery, effective risk management, and high user adoption of solutions that meet business expectations.
- Prioritization: Own and maintain the prioritization of delivery initiatives for their respective division. Works with other business partners and the group IT director to clarify group priorities for the team.
To be considered for the IT Business Partner (ITBP) you will need...
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in IT, business analysis, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of successful IT-business collaboration.
- Experience in project management and change management is a plus.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of IT capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel: Domestic and/or International travel
- Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
- ITIL Foundation preferred
- Agile/Scrum certifications preferred

#LI-MB Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $110,000.00-$145,000.00 Annually
