TITLE: Metallizer Operator C

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Metallizer Technician/Operator is responsible for coating/metallizing rolls to be slit per film specifications as required by the customer while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Manufacturing experience
• A strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in computerized operations

• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Metallize slit rolls by understanding and following the metallizer schedule
• Understanding how to read and setup machine recipes
• Clean the machine on a roll, setup change, shift and weekly schedule
• Operate the crane in both manual or automatic
• Close and open machine
• Operate the machine controls in manual or automatic
• Ability to understand computer, operations, and enter data correctly
• Maintain good housekeeping and safe working environment
• Interact and communicate with slitting supervisor, maintenance, and other slitting technicians
• Responsible for all aspects of the machine operation and will convey all mechanical and quality problems to supervision and maintenance
• Coordinate with XS58 slitter operators to ensure they have sufficient amount of film to finish orders before changing over to next order on schedule
• Fork Truck Certified for forks and clamp attachments
• Safety glasses, ear plugs, and steel toe shoes is required on some or all jobs
• Work on a specified 12 hour shift and able and willing to work overtime on an as needed basis

• Complies with all SQF procedures
• Reports any food safety problems to a member of management or SF Practitioner

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

• Manufacturing Environment
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot)
• Loud noise
