This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities



  • Support the development and execution of logistics strategies aligned with USSOCOM objectives and SOF GLSS contract requirements.
  • Oversee daily logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and field support.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD regulations, FAR/DFARS, and USSOCOM-specific directives.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, maintenance, and program management teams to optimize sustainment performance.
  • Monitor logistics KPIs and readiness metrics to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
  • Assist in managing subcontractor performance and logistics-related deliverables.
  • Support audit readiness, DCMA surveillance, and government reporting requirements.
  • Mentor logistics personnel and site leads to ensure consistent execution and accountability.
  • Serve as a liaison between logistics operations and government stakeholders to resolve issues and align priorities.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in logistics operations, with at least 3 years supporting DoD or federal contracts.
  • Strong understanding of military logistics, sustainment operations, and government compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and logistics platforms (e.g., DPAS, GCSS-Army, or equivalent).


Preferred Certifications



  • Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) or equivalent
  • PMP or Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Familiarity with DCMA protocols and government audit standards
  • Secret clearance or eligibility preferred
