About the Role

C Technologies is seeking an experienced LMS System Administrator. You will be responsible for SAP SuccessFactors Learning (BizX) and adjacent platforms (e.g., Blackboard, Degreed), leading biannual product releases, ensuring efficient curriculum and user processing, training and enabling our admin community, and driving seamless integrations and escalated issue resolution.

What You'll Do

Curriculum & User Data Governance

  • Active maintenance: create/update curricula; deactivate courses; manage Assignment Profiles; unassign/realign learning as needed.
  • Historical clean-up: archive legacy items, retire obsolete content, correct historical completions, and standardize taxonomy/metadata (categories, tags, attributes).
  • Enforce naming conventions, versioning, and SCORM/xAPI packaging standards.

Support & Incident Management

  • Triage and resolve LMS and Learning tickets, including escalated system issues (e.g., Dev/SSO problems, connector failures, catalog/assignment anomalies).
  • Establish SLAs, knowledge base articles, and root-cause analyses with preventive actions.

Release Management

  • Review vendor release notes; assess impact, deprecations, and new capabilities.
  • Author and execute risk-based test plans (pre- and post-release), including regression suites, UAT coordination, rollback criteria, and stakeholder sign-offs.
  • Communicate timelines, cutovers, and change impacts to admins and business owners.

Analytics & Continuous Improvement

  • Deliver operational dashboards (adoption, completion, overdue, content effectiveness, ticket trends).
  • Recommend process and configuration improvements; lead pilots and phased rollouts.

Integrations, Technical Operations, & Configuration

  • Own system integrations and setup/maintenance across SuccessFactors, Blackboard, Degreed, and additional tools as approved (HRIS, IDP/SSO, content libraries, analytics).
  • Advise on optimal configuration of LMS frameworks (items, curricula, programs, assignment profiles, user structures, domains, approvals, security roles) aligned to business and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain BizX suite understanding.

Community of Practice & Training

  • Plan and facilitate an LMS Admins Community of Practice (CoP) every other month: agendas, demonstrations, standards, and Q&A.
  • Design and deliver LMS Admin training, job aids, SOPs, and quick-reference guides; establish admin certification/enablement pathways.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years administering enterprise LMS platforms, with experience administering SAP SuccessFactors Learning (BizX) in a complex, multi-BU environment.
  • Deep expertise in Assignment Profiles, curricula/programs, item structures, domains, security roles.
  • Proven ownership of biannual release cycles: impact analysis, test planning, UAT, and production cutover.
  • Strong knowledge of SCORM 1.2/2004, xAPI, AICC, content hosting, and player troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with SSO (SAML/OAuth), user provisioning, HRIS connectors, and environment management.
  • Competence with reporting (PRD/Plateau, OData, or equivalent), Excel, and basic SQL for data validation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead admin enablement, run a CoP, and author SOPs/playbooks.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication; calm under pressure during incidents.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating Blackboard, Degreed, content libraries (LinkedIn Learning, Skillsoft), and HRIS (SAP/SF Employee Central, Workday, PeopleSoft).
  • Background in regulated environments (e.g., aerospace/defense, federal, healthcare, financial services).
  • Familiarity with Change Management (Prosci/ADKAR), ITIL practices, or Agile delivery.
  • Exposure to learning data standards (Caliper, CMI5) and data warehousing/BI tools (Power BI/Tableau).
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, HRIT, Learning Technologies, or related field; relevant certifications a plus.
