Financial Coordinator

The Financial and Insurance Coordinator with Little Crown Pediatric Dentistry, will be responsible for a portion, if not all, of the functions below. The Insurance Verification Specialist is expected to follow and/or assist other team members with the tasks below:

• Enter & verify all patient insurance within 24 hours of the patient being scheduled for an appointment.
• Follow-up/track/manage all insurance accounts receivables.
• Verify insurance benefits prior to appointments.
• Collection activity at 30 days past due
• Follow-up/track/manage all patient accounts receivables, delinquency and return the family to a healthy financial relationship.
• Accounts payable; balance statements/invoices/payment
  insurance changes, family chats, patients with special needs/extra love.
• Send statements to all accounts with a balance.
• Actively support Scheduling Coordinator/phones/greeting patients/scheduling.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday8:30-5:30

Thursday 9:30-6:30

Specific Skills:

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Knowledge of government, third party payers, billing requirements and reimbursement methods.
• Knowledge of dental terminology preferred.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable with an emphasis in collections and refund process.
• Proficient in the use and application of MS Office, specifically Excel.
• Knowledge of patient accounting and electronic billing.
