- Assisting in development of Silixa's FiberWrap flow metering application with an emphasis on data processing and system integration, including theoretical, hardware, and software components.
- Applying signal processing techniques to data acoustic data obtained from Silixa's industry-leading iDASTM and Carina distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) systems.
- Contributing to the ongoing development of Silixa products offered in the market areas of alternative energy (e.g., carbon, capture, utilization and storage; geothermal), oil/gas, and defense
- Participating in hands-on experimental work, including system setup, fiber installation, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Collaborating with team members to support data processing, hardware configuration, and technical proposal development.
- Learning and adhering to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices while actively promoting safe work practices.
The Candidate The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge in signal processing, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn programming skills as needed. We are looking for a motivated individual eager to grow within a multidisciplinary team while contributing to innovative projects in signal processing and acoustic data analysis.
