ROLE SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Senior/Warehouse Supervisor, this position will interact with carriers, the Shipping Office and warehouse personnel to insure the efficient flow of orders to customers in a high volume, fast paced distribution environment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*denotes essential job functions):
Responsible at all times for promoting a safety culture and awareness within their area of responsibility. Navigate SAP to print Inbound STO packing lists. Allocate orders in WMS (Warehouse Management System) in a timely fashion. Allocate and sort orders based on specific customer and carrier requirements Identify product issues and rectify by using various electronic systems: SAP, Crystal reports, Bluejay, Fourkites, etc. Resolve and document substitution and potential order cut issues with Inventory Control Specialists, Corporate customer service and planners Manage Amazon Label Pick and Short Dated processes. Coordinate all carrier appointments using Blue Jay and update the WMS/SAP systems as necessary as well as the Excel CPU appointment calendar. Manage the customer service window, dealing with multiple carriers in proper load assignment, processing paperwork, printing Bills of Lading via Smart BOL application, and issue resolution. Coordinate rush orders with corporate customer service, planners, and warehouse personnel. Resolve transportation issues with carriers and corporate transportation department. Bill orders daily upon shipment verification from the warehouse. Process shipping IDOC's in SAP (systematic inventory error codes) daily in a timely fashion. Communication with Corporate Customer Logistics to resolve IDOCs Prioritize orders for picking. Run and publish appropriate reports as necessary: case fill, overdue billing, shipper lates, LTL/international, loaded not shipped, and pallet reports. Manage temporary labor tracking for display build and warehouse projects. Complete Lean 5s audits as assigned Manage Chep inventory using the Chep web site and delivery calendar. Maintain hazmat shipping certification. Ensure timely responses and resolutions for corporate, customer, and carrier communications. Active participation in process improvement teams and continuous improvement efforts. Other projects and duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school or Equivalent 2 years of related experience Zero to 6 months of experience in a customer service environment.
PREFERED EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Considerable knowledge of the job. Substantial acquaintance with and understanding of general aspects of the job with broad understanding of the detail's aspects of the job. General supervision and instructions given for routine work, and detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments. Primarily internal company contacts, infrequent inter-organizational and outside organization interactions. Experience working in a warehouse management system (WMS) and SAP.

REQUIRED TRAINING: Candidates are required to complete all necessary trainings within the defined introductory period. WORKING CONDITIONS: The operations facility is not in a climate-controlled environment. Candidates will be exposed to the seasonal temperature variations when not in an office area.
