The primary function of this position is to ensure Oxy's oil and gas sales volumes are accurately measured in accordance with company and industry standards. Employee is responsible for maintaining and calibrating Oxy owned metering equipment and witnessing third party measurement activities for both operational, and revenue oil and gas meters. This position is responsible for conducting internal measurement audits for all custody sales records and documenting compliance with the Oxy Measurement Standards. Responsibilities also include Quality Assurance and Quality Control of all Oil/Water/Gas measurement activities. This position requires collaboration with Operations personnel to ensure all measurement activities are being followed per the Oxy Measurement Standards in addition to appropriate API/MPMS and AGA guidelines. This position will also coordinate with Automation Construction and Commissioning Teams, as well as the Automation Engineering Support Team in the installation and commissioning of new equipment. Training of Operations staff in the responsibilities of measurement activities is also included in this role. 2. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Uncompromising focus on safety and environmental stewardship Supports Measurement Manager and Measurement Leads in implementing vision Provide input for business planning cycles Support regional asset leadership to help achieve goals Schedules and completes preventive maintenance for measurement activities. Ensure compliance with the Oxy Measurement Standards, regulatory requirements, API and AGA guidelines. Communicate with Measurement Leader, Operations, Regulatory and Production Accounting on issues or errors in reporting. Responsible for data collection, identification, and resolution of measurement errors that could result in the loss of volume or revenue due to human or mechanical failures. Responsible for upgrades or new installations of gas measurement custody transfer devices and systems. This includes directing contractors and company personnel on proper design and installation in accordance with industry standards. Provide measurement support for non-custody transfer metering such as well test, operational metering, and validation (check) measurement Provide gas samples for quality determination as required for custody transfer measurement, operations. Responsible for upgrades or new installations of gas measurement custody transfer devices and systems. Working knowledge of oil and gas surface operations Professional/Technical Qualifications/License/Certifications : Valid driver 's License with good Driving record Experience: Experience in LACT Meter operations, calibration of gas measurement devices and repair/maintenance of measurement equipment. Must have working knowledge of relevant requirements and procedures.
