Position Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities: - Direct workers engaged in operation equipment and building maintenance activities - Determine work priorities and schedule repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment - Troubleshoot and repair CNC lathes, mills, hobbing equipment, saws, etc. through both hands-on work as well as directing activities of maintenance team - Perform preventative maintenance schedules and for ensuring work is completed timely to accommodate production needs - Inspect completed work for conformance to requirements, specifications and standards - Adhere to LOTO procedures - Fabricate and implement tooling and fixturing - Requisitions tools, equipment and supplies - Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards - Establish or adjust maintenance work procedures to meet production schedules - Maintain time and production records - Confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments - Performs activities of workers supervised - Initiate, coordinate and ensure operational and personnel policies and procedures are followed Requirements for Maintenance Supervisor: - At least five years of experience required in the installation, maintenance, and the repair of machines and equipment in a manufacturing environment; Two-year associate in machine maintenance and repair or equivalent experience a plus - Post-high school education/training in electronics - 1+ credit welding post-high school a plus - Post-high school formal training in fabrication a plus - Specific knowledge of Fanuc controls and Haas desired - Extensive electrical troubleshooting experience - Certified electrician a plus - Prior work experience in, paper machines, CNCs, printing presses and/or other manufacturing processing machines a plus - Computer literate in Windows - Basic+ welding knowledge - Forklift certification a plus - Advanced multi-tasking and troubleshooting skills - Knowledge of manufacturing technology products, CNC machining technology, assemblies, and facilities/building maintenance and equipment - Knowledge of practices used in CNC and mechanical machine diagnostics and repair, as well as building, electrical, or mechanical trades - Able to read and understand diagrams, schematics, engineering prints, and manuals for mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems - Possess basic fabrication techniques that would be used in machine repair - Able to use electrical test equipment to identify, analyze, and resolve electrical problems - Possess a "strong hands-on" attitude and knowledge of electrical, electronic, PLC controls, and computerized components of CNC and manual machines - PLC troubleshooting and reading - Welding and use of cutting torches - Able to perform light fabrication - Able to read ladder logic - CNC programming and operation |
