Responsibilities

This position supports a Customer who provides enterprise services to enhance project management and systems engineering through the full systems lifecycle used by medical staff and officers.

Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead and assist the PMO in assessing, documenting, and tracking new program requirements and follow-on activities to closure.
  • Conduct business process analysis and change management analysis reviews.
  • Schedule and facilitate technical exchange meetings and information sessions.
  • Manage project schedules, action items, deliverables, and track them to successful completion.
  • Develop clear, concise, readable technical requirements, business processes, and documentation.
  • Analyze technical content and depict problem statements using workflows, graphics, and briefings, leveraging automated tools and research methods to finalize deliverables.
  • Collect data, conduct research, and ensure the right technical solution aligns to the user statement of needs, e.g., statistical data in documents, reports, forms, plans, and meeting minutes.
  • Compile various technical information in an easy-to-comprehend format for decision makers, enabling project and team work to progress.
  • Apply a systems thinking mindset to determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, components, and the environment will affect outcomes.
  • Monitor, track, and assess performance of projects and organization to implement corrective actions that improve relations with product owners, SMEs, and the team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Master's Degree 10-13 years professional experience OR Bachelor's Degree 12-15 years of professional experience (Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field).
  • Experience integrating Information Technology (IT) related projects.
  • Well-versed in lifecycle and project integration methodologies.
  • Able to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Experience with project integration tools in an Agile framework.
  • Ability to review departmental design requirements for workflow validation.
  • Identify necessary interfaces between new enterprise solution applications and legacy IT environments.
  • Support business case analysis and identification of alternative solutions and resulting business impacts.
  • Demonstrated success working with the PMO to document, diagram, and track new program requirements and follow-on technical exchange meetings (TEMs). Follow-up on action items and ensure closure.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Jira, Confluence, Visio, and Adobe.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in project integration.
  • Familiarity with Agile methods and software collaboration tools for development projects.
  • Proficient in Agile practices in Jira for successful product delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to define interface control documents (ICDs).
  • Ability to coordinate and adjust to change fluidly and manage competing tasks and requirements.
  • Ability to collect, organize, and monitor individual, organizational, and customer prioritizes.
  • Ability to facilitate TEMs with various organizations' technical personnel and manage project plans.
  • Knowledge of graphic packages and workflow management skills is highly preferred.
