Position Summary: The Director, Global Client Operations, will lead operations, processes, and systems that optimize the performance of multiple extensive global agency relationships in the healthcare sector. This position will play a critical role in achieving financial and operational objectives for the network, working closely with multiple stakeholders globally. Reporting to the Director, Global Client Operations - EVP This role will have line management responsibility. Responsibilities:
- Lead the global agency teams that work across our top international client partnerships to ensure alignment with a central model that is consistent in working to generate effectiveness and efficiency.y
- Be a key client-facing partner at the IPG Health level, playing an active role in overseeing the key relationship with a clear understanding of agency account, operations, and finance function.s
- Act as a conduit between key stakeholder groups, including production, business intelligence, growth, and finance to ensure global clients benefit from interoperability of the network and data
- Lead internal initiatives to improve the management of central client relationships (e.g., client data initiatives, SI.D, etc.)
- Lead operational components of global or multi-agency RFIs, RFPs, and pitches. Where appropriate, support new business opportunities and efforts with content development and pitch participation.
- Lead open architecture solutions and act as a key conduit and connection point with other networks and disciplines in forming these solutions.s
- On both current and new clients, development of new strategic solutions and initiatives to support the continued growth of the relationship
- Lead the development, implementation, and revision of globally shared client management processes to form an IPG Health standard, meeting the brand and commercial needs of our agency teams working on global client engagements.
- Support global client finance in the development of commercial agreements and solutions.
- Lead global client performance review processes, including participation, results, and dashboard management. Lead agency performance plan development
- Manage the onboarding process for agencies across markets, including ongoing provision of operational counsel to those agency teams.
- Support integration of non-owned agencies into client processes and ways of workin,g ensuring sensitive management of the clients.
- Be a keescalation point for client operational and performance issues through a straightforward resolution process, working closely with stakeholder teams. Ability to independently solve the problem together with the agency and client
- Act as a point of contact on client requests and represent network and agency interests in client discussions, triaging requests, and leading teams to solutions where necessary.y
- Review and assessment of MSAs for practical implementation
- Oversee the IPG Quarterly Business Review process, consolidating agency finance, operational, creative, growth, and performance information for the network
Job Requirements:
- 10-15 years of experience in agency account management, project management, or operations.
- Solid understanding of agency capabilities, disciplines, projects, and work types
- Solid understanding of agency finance processes
- Experience of working across markets and cultures
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare marketing, life sciences, or biology experience; familiarity with medical terminology (therapy areas and indications) is a plus
- Ability to collate and synthesize input from a large variety of internal and external sources
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must
- Comfort working in a deadline-driven environment and prioritizing rapid, timely responses
- Ability to work in a matrix organisation and with different levels of seniority
