What You'll Do

  • Builds positive relationships with assigned clients, examines recon vehicles to ensure standards and quality, completes estimates for reconditioning services to improve vehicle value, coordinates and approves reconditioning services, and conducts condition report and imaging audits to reduce the risk of policy loss and goodwill expenses.
  • Provide accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail, and mechanical services, coordinating approvals and monitoring completion timelines to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Understands repairability of panels including PDR, body repairs, body lines, and panels that require rivets and adhesive bonding
  • Competent in determining feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts
  • Proficient in taking photos to support estimate items for quicker processing
  • Understanding of vehicles and parts that require recalibrations and functionality resets
  • Understanding of types of wheels and repairability including chrome, chrome clad, machine finish, steel, and painted wheels
  • Understanding of previous repairs including hidden damage, cracked bonding, filler, welds, caulking, clamp marks, pull areas, paint, inner panel color match and scratches versus paint cracks
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of vehicle condition data, including previous repairs and frame damage, and ensure adherence to Cox and client SLA standards.
  • Communicates estimates for maintenance, repairs, and reconditioning of motor vehicles.
  • Monitors repair status, completion timelines, transportation and customer communications related to approved reconditioning estimates.
  • Keeps records of repair / reconditioning details and completes necessary SLA audits.
  • Oversees and monitors retail inventory to identify bottlenecks in the reconditioning process
  • Maintains accurate record-keeping systems in RPP and communicates all concerns directly to management
  • Visibly demonstrates safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
  • Actively participates in and support all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence


Who You Are

Minimum:

  • A high school diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field; or any degree/certification beyond high school and 1 year of experience; or 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience in CCC One preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs (e.g. tools, equipment). Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
  • The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.

MCCOX

USD 19.52 - 29.23 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly base pay rate is $19.52 - $29.23/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
