Provide superior customer service while maintaining a clean and attractive outlet for guests. The compensation for this position ranges from $31.10-$41.47 based on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage with guests in a warm, welcoming manner, ensuring every interaction reflects the high standards of R Market.
- Assist guests with purchases, providing knowledgeable recommendations on food, beverages, and specialty items.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card, and room charge transactions.
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages and food using the commercial equipment, following established presentation guidelines.
- Restock shelves, refrigerators, and displays, ensuring products are always fresh, organized, and visually appealing.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to management.
- Maintain a clean, inviting environment, including countertops, equipment, and seating areas.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for food and beverage service.
- Stay informed about hotel offerings and local attractions to assist guests with inquiries.
- Observe guests to anticipate needs and respond to requests promptly.
- Assist with the setup, cleaning, and refreshing of the space during and after shifts.
- Count the bank at the end of shifts, following property control standards and cash handling protocols.
- Complete all side work, including stocking, requisition requests, organizing, recording daily par levels and other assigned duties.
- Report any maintenance issues to management
Qualifications and Skills:
Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges and understand portion sizes as relating to pricing. Ability to operate a keyboard and Point of Sale procedures. Ability to effectively deal with and resolve conflict situations, such as inaccurate check total. Ability to sit and/or stand and work continually in confined spaces with or without reasonable accommodation. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
