Senior Tax Accountant

Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant for an opportunity with a client located in Chesterfield, MO.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in research and analysis of various federal tax issues to determine the most
• appropriate cost-effective filing position
• Build and maintain relationships with outsourced tax support services
• Lead continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to identify
  and eliminate waste
• Lead the domestic and international transfer pricing process and maintain the related
  documentation
• Oversee the calculation and payment of estimated federal and state income taxes
• Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns, including related
  schedules
• Prepare income tax provision for financial reporting purposes
• Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies and assist with federal and state
  income tax audits
• Review the reconciliation of income tax balance sheet accounts on a quarterly basis
• Support the execution of the tax strategic plans

Qualifications (required)

• 3+ years of income tax experience
• Ability to meet established deadlines/goal dates
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or taxation
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs (Access, Excel, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications (preferred)

• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
• CPA certification or qualified to sit for the CPA exam
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Master's degree in accounting or taxation
• Related experience in tax management or tax consulting

Additional

• Occasional overnight travel required. Must have ability to independently travel as needed, without restriction, by all modes of transportation
