Position Summary: Under general supervision, receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail and parcels. Collects and processes outgoing mail parcels. Operates postage machine and other mailroom equipment as needed. Assist in the operation of all mailroom activities. Escorts various facility service vendors throughout corporate office space providing both access and oversight as needed. Provides the highest level of customer service in responding to and resolving internal helpdesk request for a range of facility related services. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the successful candidate is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, keyboards or controls; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms and stoop or kneel. Must regularly lift and/or move files and equipment up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 75 pound objects. Specific vision characteristics required by this position include close vision, adjust focus, and view a computer screen for extended periods of time.
