Moog's Military Aircraft Group is seeking a first shift, Program Planner Analyst. As a Planner Analyst you will perform analysis of program parts requirements for programs and generation of realistic production schedules.

The Planner / Analyst is the central base upon which all phases of Production Control operations are planned, controlled and monitored to insure on time completion of Moog's commitments to its customers. The Planner/Analyst is responsible for ensuring proper planning while monitoring the execution of the plans through customer delivery.

This position is onsite at our East Aurora, NY location.

To be considered for this role, here's what you would typically bring:

  • An associate's degree combined with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in Planning is required

To be successful in this role, candidates will typically possess:

  • Ability to rapidly acquire a sound knowledge of Moog systems, procedures, and business requirements.

  • Ability to independently manage and prioritize their workload.

  • A combination of technical and interpersonal skills will be essential for effectively guiding both the planning outcomes and communication with extended teams.

As a Planner / Analyst, you will:

  • Provide direction to various NPI programs/projects as subject matter expert to support production transitions to sustaining manufacturing lines.

  • Collaborate with program management to understand key deliverables, expectations, and milestones. This includes managing sales orders, forecasts, and other related requests.

  • Attend program meetings including PDRs and CDR's (Production/critical design reviews), phase gate reviews

  • Analyze, order, schedule, reschedule and expedite assigned items

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of engineering change orders and assess their impact on project schedules. Proactively anticipate new requirements and identify potential constraints

  • Determine appropriate order policies and lot sizes

  • Manage inventory effectively in support of company objectives

  • Monitor progress against the production plan by assimilating information from requirements planning, purchasing, shop floor control, inventory control, and the master schedule.

  • Participate in meetings with cross-functional teams to discuss individual piece part/program status

  • Actively support Lean Manufacturing principles

  • Report and escalate all problems to appropriate persons

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $75,000.00-$95,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
